DANVILLE, Calif.-Telemac Cellular Corp. said it has agreed to license its patent-pending debit technology to Trimax Inc. of Taiwan.
The contract allows Trimax to manufacture a cellular debit phone that is switch independent, gives the company distribution rights for the debit phone in China for a five-year period and is expected to provide for the distribution of 500,000 phones, Telemac said.
