SAN FRANCISCO-AirTouch Paging Inc. has begun providing service in El Paso, Texas, announced parent company AirTouch Communications Inc.
“El Paso is a natural extension of our service commitment in Texas and the southwest,” said Charlie Jackson, AirTouch Paging’s president and chief executive officer, noting that customers will appreciate the larger coverage area.
AirTouch already provides paging service throughout the Southwest, including Texas operations in Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Midland Sherman and Denison.
The company reported 1.76 milion paging units in service, with operations in more than 130 markets in 21 states and the District of Columbia.
