MONROE, La.-Century Telephone Enterprises Inc. said it completed its acquisition of the Mississippi 2 rural service area nonwireline cellular operation. The RSA is located between Memphis, Tenn., and Birmingham, Ala., and has a population of 240,000.
Century said Mississippi 2 is comprised of nine counties and ranks first in the state among RSAs in median household income, population and population per square mile.
