WASHINGTON-Wireless Technology Research L.L.C. awarded nearly $185,000 to Dr. Om Gandhi in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Salt Lake City’s University of Utah to conduct studies of portable wireless communications instruments.
Among other tests, Gandhi will develop a computer model based on magnetic resonance imaging scans of a human head model commonly used to measure specific absorption rates from cellular telephones.
