DENVER-ProNet Inc. has acquired Apple Communication Inc. and the assets of Best Page Inc., announced Communications Equity Associates.
Since 1993, ProNet has acquired 13 paging operations and has eight additional transactions pending, CEA said. The company has a current subscriber base of 810,200, which it estimates will climb to more than 988,500 upon the closing of all pending transactions. Apple serves about 41,500 paging customers in Chicago.
