REDMOND, Wash.-Data Critical Corp. announced it has been awarded two patents for its Data-Through-Paging technology. One patent covers the “packetizing” component of the company’s protocol, whereby textual and/or graphical data is compressed and divided into packets for transmission via paging networks, the company said.
The second patent covers the encryption component, allowing data to be key-word encrypted and converted into an alphanumeric code for transmission over Internet e-mail paging systems.
