ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.-Motorola Inc.’s Cellular Infrastructure Group announced it has been awarded an $8 million contract by Celtel to install a cellular telephone system in Honduras.
The Advanced Mobile Phone Service network initially will provide service to customers in the cities of Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sulla and in the corridor between Puerto Cortez and Choluteca, said Motorola. Service is scheduled to begin this summer.
