Supra Products Inc. has introduced its TRACcess key and electronic access management system that addresses the special multiple-site access needs of wireless communications, cellular and paging carriers, personal communications services and general phone service providers. By replacing the multiple gate and equipment room keys carried by service personnel, the company said the system reduces the liability of lost, stolen or unreturned keys, and allows companies to convert to a single key system and give their employees single key access to all sites. The central component of the TRACcess System is the TRACkey, a pager-sized electronic key that records its own access activity by location, date and time, said Supra. The TRACkey’s user can always know when a particular location has been accessed or track where a key holder has been. The information is quickly transmitted to the TRACcess Information Manager PC over any touch-tone phone. The TRACkey can also be programmed to expire at management-defined intervals, said the company. Supra offers a TRAC-Box for leased sites, a TRAC-Padlock for gated areas, a TRAC-Vault to store keys and access cards. (800) 225-2974.

The Antenna Co. has introduced an in-vehicle amplifier designed to overcome diminished cellular phone performance caused by a car’s body. Installed under the car’s dash, The Portable Edge enhances performance by boosting both transmit and receive signals, said the company. The amplifier receives the phone’s signal output through its interior antenna, boosts the signal and transmits it to an externally mounted antenna. By amplifying the signal, the radio frequency is not limited by obstructions that reduce cellular phone performance. (708) 250-9900.
