LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Information Services announced the formation of a Philippine-based corporation that will provide data management and processing services to Pilipino Telephone Corp., the second largest telecommunications company in the Philippines.
The new corporation, named Allied Information Services of the Philippines Inc., is the result of a joint venture between Alltel and Philippine investors. Philippine nationals own 60 percent of Allied and Alltel owns 40 percent.
