WETHERSFIELD, Conn.-Shared Technologies Cellular Inc. announced it has signed a new three-year agreement with National Car Rental System Inc. to provide over-the-counter portable cellular phone rentals at National locations across the United States.
The agreement is expected to generate $10 million in gross revenue during its term, said STC. Travelers renting a car from National can reserve a portable cellular phone at the National counter through STC’s toll-free reservations system. Since 1992, STC has provided its cellular services to a limited number of locations.
