CSC SIGNS CONTRACT FOR CUSTOMER CARE

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.-Computer Sciences Corp. announced it has signed a five-year, multimillion dollar contract to provide billing and customer care services to personal communications services provider Omnipoint Communications Inc.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will support OCI with version 3.0 of its Tris+ Customer Care and Billing System. CSC said the version will use a graphical user interface presentation layer in order to allow customer service agents to find critical information quickly and easily.

OCI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Omnipoint Corp., holds a license for the New York major trading area. Omnipoint holds 18 basic trading area licenses.
