PHILADELPHIA-Comcast Cellular Communications Inc. representatives will be educating young drivers about the safe use of cellular phones through a program called “Road Smarts.”
Students will learn about safety features on cellular phones such as hands-free dialing, speed dialing and voice-activated dialing. Participants will also learn how to report accidents or crimes and how to call for help in case of emergencies.
“We’re proud to be part of this program because it addressed a major need-educating the next generation of cellular phone users on the safe and smart way to use mobile phones.” said Donald A. Harris, president of Comcast Cellular.
