SALINA, Kan.-Kansas Cellular, a provider of rural cellular phone service, announced the Kansas Technology Enterprise Corp. has ranked it the state’s second fastest-growing technology firm.
KTEC tracked technology-oriented companies from 1991 to 1995 and based its rankings on revenue growth.
“It’s gratifying that a company based in rural Kansas and serving a rural population can compete with a company in the larger markets,” said E. Clarke Garnett, president and chief executive officer of the company.
