CALABASAS, Calif.- Tekelec signed a global licensing agreement to provide its Protocol Adaptable State Machine technology and Chameleon SoftTest products to all of L.M. Ericsson’s divisions.
“The combination of PASM and Chameleon SoftTest allows Ericsson to create and execute testing in a virtual environment and then reuse the test scripts for function and system testing, all the way through, including regression testing,” said Michele Page, Tekelec’s director of global accounts. “The customer realizes additional savings in their testing process through this test methodology.”
In addition, Tekelec announced Airadigm Communications has selected its EAGLE Signal Transfer Point to provide Signalling System 7 functionality to Airadigm’s network. According to the contract, STP nodes will be installed in Appleton and Madison, Wis., giving Airadigm the ability to provide advanced intelligent network services to its subscribers.
