DALLAS-CommNet Cellular Inc. has agreed to market National Telemanagement Corp.’s SmartPay prepaid wireless service for customers in CommNet’s nine-state service area.
Customers establish an account at any SmartPay authorized CommNet outlet and replenish airtime with cash, bank draft or credit card. Customers are warned when their balance is getting low, and they may check their account balance by dialing a code on their phone.
The SmartPay system features voice mail, real-time roaming and incoming calls. It also has multilingual capability using an interactive voice response system. CommNet serves markets in Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming.
