WILSONVILLE, Ore.-Wireless reseller NW Communications announced a partnership with Japan Radio Corp. Ltd., a JRC unit that manufacturers prepaid equipment. Together the companies are offering a prepaid cellular service called Pay N’ Talk.
“We want our customers to view prepaid cellular equal to postpaid cellular and choose the option that best fits their needs,” said Jim Toma, president of NW Communications.
Customers of Pay N’ Talk may opt for one of four switched-based phone options, an intelligent software-based prepaid phone or they can use their existing cellular phone.
The service is already available in 19 midwestern and western states. The cost of the service and equipment varies, the company said. NW Communications said the Pay N’ Talk service will be available in outlets such as grocery stores and gas stations.
