NOKIA DIRECTORS DECLARE DIVIDEND

HELSINKI, Finland-At its annual general meeting, Nokia Corp.’s board of directors declared a 70 cents per share dividend for 1996. The dividend will be payable on April 7 to shareholders of record on April 1.

It also adopted a bonus plan, approved terms of bonds to be offered to 2,000 people and changed Nokia’s company form to a public limited company with the name Nokia amended with the abbreviation Oyj in Finnish and Abp in Swedish. The name will remain Nokia Corp. in English.
