NEW YORK-PriCellular Corp. entered an agreement with United States Cellular Corp. to transfer cellular properties in Wisconsin from US Cellular to PriCellular. The arrangement is subject to approval by the Federal Communications Commission.
The property, Wisconsin rural service area 5, is adjacent to PriCellular’s Eau Claire, Wis., metropolitan statistical area and its Minneapolis MSA.
The company noted the area consists of River Falls and Menominee, Wis., as well as 40 miles of highway including 25 miles of Interstate 94, which runs through Eau Claire into Minneapolis.
