AMMAN, Jordan-Motorola Inc.’s Paging Products Group said Jordan Radio Paging adopted the FLEX protocol as the standard to expand its paging system.
Jordan Radio Paging, a privately owned paging company, has been providing numeric and alphanumeric paging using the POCSAG standard since 1989.
The company expects to add more than 100,000 paging subscribers during the next year as it expands its coverage area nationwide.
“Jordan Radio Paging will be the first paging operator to bring FLEX technology to Jordan,” said Saad Beseiso, general manager of Jordan Radio Paging.
