FORT WORTH, Texas-Motorola Inc. and TekNow signed an agreement that calls for Motorola to license client/server Telocator Network Paging Protocol technology from TekNow. Motorola will use the technology to complete the build out of wireless messaging networks based on its FLEX technology.
TNPP is the wireless industry standard protocol for inter- and intra-network messaging, said the companies. The license agreement covers both a TNPP client and server module that facilitates communications among nodes on the wireless network.
