LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Corp. supplied its Virtuoso II billing and customer care system for GTE Wireless’ personal communications services networks in Cincinnati, Seattle and Spokane, Wash.
V-II is a flexible client/server-based software system that provides customer support, service activation, inventory and billing functions in a point-of-sale desktop format. The system allows customer service representatives to activate service features and access data.
The system already has completed billing cycles in the networks, Alltel said.
