LOS ANGELES-Roamer One, a subsidiary of Intek Diversified Corp., installed a two-way voice and data communications and vehicle tracking system for Brinks Inc., a St. Louis-based armored security company.
“The Brinks installation includes two-way voice and data wireless communications between mobile units, groups of mobile units and dispatchers,” said Mark Wood, national sales manager for Roamer One. “In addition, a computer-aided dispatch system linked to vehicle-mounted global positioning system transponders, provides real-time vehicle tracking and a broad range of monitoring and telemetry functions.”
Roamer One said airtime service is provided on a flat-rate monthly basis. The company has established a network of specialized mobile radio base stations throughout the United States using Intek’s Linear Modulation technology.
