WICHITA, Kan.-IFR Systems Inc. announced it plans to change its name to IFR Corp. effective Jan. 1.
The company said the change comes with its corporate restructuring, through which IFR Corp. will be a holding company operating a radio-frequency division and a fiber optics division. IFR also created new names for its two operating units: the Photon Kinetics unit will become PK Technology Inc. and York Technology Ltd. will become PK Technology Ltd. The RF division will continue using the IFR Systems Inc. name.
