MILAN-Omnitel Pronto Italia, Italy’s second Global System for Mobile communications provider, announced its customer base reached 1.7 million at the end of the third quarter, a 40-percent increase over the previous quarter.
Omnitel said it expects to double its turnover by year-end and cut losses in half for the current fiscal year.
