Affordable Message Center, a wireless reseller based in New York, introduced a bundled package service plan to its wireless and wireline wholesale customers that combines various elements of the company’s Simplicity paging services.
The Freedom 2000 bundled service plan combines Simplicity One, Simplicity Personal Page, Simplicity Email and Simplicity Internet Paging with other offerings into packages at a lower price than what each would cost separately.
The idea, said David Honig, vice president of sales and marketing, is to make advanced paging services more attractive to customers.
“This is a service that we have been planning for over a year now,” he said.
“What we are trying to do is decrease churn and motivate resellers to upgrade their services. We feel the value of it will really benefit the industry as a whole.”
The service includes four scaled plans.
The Freedom 2000 Advantage plan combines toll-free personal identification number-based alphanumeric paging with the Simplicity Internet paging, Simplicity Personal Page and Simplicity Email for $15 with combined alphanumeric airtime, or for $10 without.
This price is 30 percent lower than what it would cost to buy each separately, the company said.
The Freedom 2000 Paramount plan combines AMC’s toll-free Customized Gold personal greeting (sans PIN service), Electronic Calender timed message delivery service, Simplicity Internet Paging and Simplicity Email for the same price, reflecting a 65 percent savings over purchasing these options separately.
The Freedom 2000 Elite is a combination of the Customized Gold Extra service, Electronic Calendar service, Simplicity Internet paging and Simplicity Email for $18 with alphanumeric airtime and $13 without, a 50-percent savings.
Finally, the Freedom 2000 Premier plan offers 30 minutes of toll-free Simplicity One one-number service with voice mail, Electronic Calendar service, Simplicity Internet paging and simplicity Email for $20 a month with alphanumeric airtime and $15 without, reflecting an 85 percent lower price than if sold separately.
