PHOENIX-TekNow Inc., announced that Ameritech Cellular Services has installed its PhenX Internet Paging Gateway to support corporate intranet e-mail-to-paging requirements.
The PhenX IPG receives e-mail and Web-based messages and converts them into pages, the company said. It supports multiple carriers and can send pages via leased-line or dial-up connections, and allows subscribers the ability to configure their own paging options through the Web, said TekNow.
Phoenix-based TekNow markets advanced wireless messaging systems to replace existing paging terminal infrastructure with all Internet-paging management protocols.
