Western Wireless Corp. announced the official opening of its customer service center in Albuquerque, N.M., increasing its capacity to respond to calls from its VoiceStream wireless and Cellular One customers.
The 65,000-square-foot facility is expected to employ 500 people over the next three years. It currently employs 100 people. The center will operate 24-hours a day, every day, to offer personal assistance on everything from technical support to billing questions, the company said.
Western Wireless’ VoiceStream personal communications services network is available in 10 western states and its Cellular One cellular service is provided in 15 western states.
