STARRTEL RENOVATES VEEDER PLACE

MILFORD, Conn.-Starrtel Cellular Group Inc. will occupy 60,000 square feet of space in Veeder Place in Hartford, Conn., which is under renovation as part of an inner-city economic development plan, said Design Communications Inc.

The private minority-owned cellular phone manufacturer received a $2.2 million funding bond from the state of Connecticut, $1.2 million of which is earmarked for the new facility.

MJB Corp., a non-profit organization headed by Rev. Thomas J. Barry is raising money for development of Connecticut inner cities, said Paul Fisher, president of Design Communications.
