MONTVALE, N.J.-Next Wireless plans to become Geotek Communications Inc.’s first nationwide distributor of its mobile business services, announced the companies. Next Wireless plans to broaden its product line during the next several years to include Geotek’s vehicle tracking, radio dispatch, cellular and data communications applications, the companies said.
“Our customers are constantly bombarded with hype about new digital networks,” said David Wilkins, president and chief executive officer of Next Wireless. “What they are really looking for are solutions to business problems.
” `Where are my vehicles? How can I help my technicians complete more jobs? Where is the next pick up?’ These are the questions our sales representatives hear every day in the field. With Geotek, we now have an answer.”
Next Wireless, based in San Ramon, Calif., specializes in business-to-business full service wireless consulting and implementation of digital technologies. The company plans to begin selling Geotek services in Florida and Texas and plans to expand into additional Geotek markets later this year.
