CLAREMONT, Calif.-WolfeTech Corp. and MovieLink announced a strategic alliance to bring nationwide movie listings to two-way paging subscribers.
Under the agreement, users of the Research in Motion Inter@ctive pager and Motorola Inc.’s PagerWriter 2000 will have access to MovieLink’s nationally updated movie show times and theater listings through WolfeTech’s PocketGenie application. MovieLink is the online sister service of the MovieFone telephone movie guide.
Two-way paging users can initiate a search by theater or movie or show time from their pager via the PocketGenie program. PocketGenie then requests the information from the MovieLink site and returns the relevant information to the user, the company said.
