Personal communications services carrier BellSouth Mobility DCS said it is offering an enhanced voice-mail service called RapidReply to customers in the Carolinas, eastern Tennessee and coastal Georgia.
With the new service, customers do not have to exit voice mail or dial a caller’s telephone number to return a message. Customers listen to the message and instantly respond to the caller by pushing the number 8 button on their phone’s keypad, RapidReply automatically dials the telephone number.

After the call is completed, customers can press the # key twice to immediately return to their voice-mail box and the exact point they left earlier.
