MARLBOROUGH, Mass.-Cerulean Technology Inc. and BellSouth Wireless Data teamed up to give public-safety agencies access to BellSouth’s nationwide wireless data network using Cerulean’s PacketCluster Patrol software, BellSouth said.
PacketCluster software gives officers instant access to local, state and national law-enforcement databases from laptop computers in patrol cars-now by way of BellSouth’s network, which is powered by Mobitex, a communications technology specifically designed for data communications.
