VANCOUVER, Wash.-Wireless tower builder and owner Westower Corp. last week acquired privately-held MJA Communications Corp. for $10 million in stock.
The acquisition of the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based tower-construction company will extend Westower’s construction business to the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the country, add architectural design capability and expand engineering, said Westower.
For the four months ended April 30, MJA reported revenue of $6.06 million and unaudited pretax income of $615,000. Last year, MJA reported revenue of $13.9 million and adjusted pretax income of $1.25 million, said Westower.
