GREENVILLE, S.C.-Conxus Communications Inc. announced it expects its Pocketalk voice paging service to be available by June 25 in Philadelphia.
Pocketalk is based on the InFLEXion protocol created by Motorola Inc. The Philadelphia launch brings the total number of Pocketalk markets to 10. Conxus President Bill deKay said the company has signed more than 20,000 subscribers to the service.
Pocketalk is available in Baltimore/Washington D.C., Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angles, Chicago, Atlanta and Tampa/St. Petersburg and Orlando, Fla.
