SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-Superconductor Technologies Inc. announced it received a letter of intent from a top 10 cellular carrier for a supply agreement of up to 200 of STI’s SuperFilter Systems through Dec. 31, 1999.
Prices and other terms and conditions of the transaction will be determined once the supply agreement is complete. The deal will mark the first supply agreement for STI, which so far has been testing its proprietary cryogenic cooling front-end filters and amplifiers with several cellular service providers.
