ADC Telecommunications Inc. said the NewNet CALEAserver tests on JSI Telecom’s digital collection platform used by policing agencies, called VoiceBox, were successful for compliance with the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act.
“Deployments of the CALEAserver offering will begin in 1999. Law enforcement agencies equipped with VoiceBox will then be able to capture real-time voice and data and fulfill the intent of the CALEA law,” said Keith Bhatia, executive director of business development for ADC NewNet.
