provider program designed to enable delivery of geo-coded information and Internet content to wireless
subscribers.
Local.info brings subscribers personalized, localized information instantly via their wireless phones.
The local.info Content Alliance combines SignalSoft’s location-based software with a range of localized information
provided by the Alliance members.
Based on their location and requests, cellular and personal communication
services operators can route wireless users to the nearest business or help them access information and Internet content,
including directory assistance, emergency roadside assistance and weather reports, said SignalSoft.
