TOSHIBA TO RESELL STANFORD EQUIPMENT

SUNNYVALE, Calif.-Japan-based Toshiba Corp. has reached an agreement to resell in Asian
and other markets the wireless broadband implementation equipment of Stanford Wireless Broadband Inc., a Stanford
Telecommunications Inc. subsidiary.

Under the agreement, Stanford Wireless will supply Toshiba with broadband
wireless subscriber and head-end network interface units. The equipment supports full-featured telephony and data
services, including high-speed Internet access. It also provides the core technology for networks supporting local
multipoint distribution services.

“The addition of Stanford’s products to our product line will substantially
reinforce our capabilities as a system integrator able to meet a wider scope of user requirements, especially those
featuring point-to-multipoint architecture,” said Kiyoshi Urui, general manager of Toshiba’s multimedia wireless
division.

Stanford Telecom designs, manufactures and markets advanced digital communications products and
systems to establish or enhance communications via satellite, terrestrial wireless and cable.
