SANTA CLARA, Calif.-Intel Corp. and Analog Devices Inc. announced a joint development
agreement to design a digital signal processor core architecture to process video, image, voice and data in emerging
embedded communication devices.
Under the terms of the agreement, the two will combine engineering teams to
create the DSP for such devices as pagers and cellular phones, among other communication and computing devices.
