SAN JOSE, Calif.-VLSI Technology Inc. said it expects to ship its CDMA+ dual-core baseband
solution in March.
The solution is comprised of a Code Division Multiple Access Processor 100 chip, software and
debug tools. It contains all the baseband elements needed to develop a wireless phone.
VLSI said the 13 QCELP
Vocoder in the CDMA+ is the first successfully tested using the Modified-Methodology IS-736 Minimum Performance
Standard.
