NEW ORLEANS-VoiceCue Technologies Inc. said it will introduce its Balance Monitor system
at the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association Wireless ’99 conference in New Orleans.
The system
“is perfect for customers who want or need to budget airtime and be billed for payment,” said V.J.
Harrison, vice president of sales and marketing for VoiceCue Technologies.
Balance Monitor allows customers to
budget their airtime for the month and be billed for the time afterward. The billing information Balance Monitor also
can be used to identify potential postpaid customers, yet alleviate the risk associated with non-established postpaid
accounts, said the company.
Harrison also noted that the system lowers the churn rate for service providers, since a
customer easily can be moved from prepaid to Balance Monitor, a more secure plan.
