ERICSSON INTRODUCES RUGGED PHONE, BASE STATION

CANNES, France – L.M. Ericsson Inc. displayed the R250 PRO, its water, dust and shock
resistant mobile phone, for use on the Global System for Mobile communications 900 and GSM 1800 networks, at the
GSM World Congress in Cannes, France.

The phone supports both GSM phase 2+ technology and the GSM Pro
system. It comes equipped with Goretex membranes, rubber gaskets and a special sealing agent to prevent any water or
dust entering the phone.

Ericsson also introduced the self-contained RBS 2401 indoor base station for GSM 900 and
GSM 1800 MHz frequencies. The compact RBS 2401 fits into hierarchical cell structure schemes and may be deployed
as part of Ericsson’s “GSM on the Net” system.

Ericsson RF Power Products announced several new
transistors.

The PTF 10049 and 10037 wideband, high power, raido-frequency transistors amplify ultra high
frequency signals. The devices have been optimized to cover the 470 MHz to 860 MHz UHF band.

The PTF 10125,
10021 and 10114 transistors are optimized for amplification of DAB and DAR signals. Each device covers the 1.4 GHz
to 1.6 GHz frequency range.

The PTF 10120, 10043, 10035 and 10112 family of 2 GHz transistors amplify personal
communications services signals. All devices in this family are highly linear, gold metallized and silicon and are ideal
for amplifying Code Division Multiple Access and Time Division Multiple Access signals.

The PTF 10100, 10036
and 10020 900 MHz RF transistors amplify cellular base station signals. (972) 583-5267 or (213) 685-4030.
