DULLES, Va.-Orbcomm Global L.P. announced its South American licensee, Damos
SudAmerica, officially has launched commercial data and messaging services there.
Damos SudAmerica is a
partnership between Telespazio of Italy, Grupo Inepar of Brazil, Entel Chile and Group BGH of Argentina. Together,
they will market Orbcomm satellite services in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay.
