PASADENA, Calif.-Emultek Ltd. announced Kyocera Corp. of Japan has developed a fully functional prototype cdmaOne phone using Emultek’s RapidPLUS software, which graphically models, simulates and tests virtual product interfaces and automatically generates C code and the documentation needed to begin manufacturing.
“The performance of the RapidPLUS-generated C code met all our requirements while keeping RAM and ROM consumption low,” said Hiromasa Yamashita of Kyocera’s Product Development Division for Communications Equipment. “Furthermore, after receiving training from Emultek’s engineering team, we were able to develop and quickly integrate our RapidPLUS application into our target embedded environment ourselves.”
