WASHINGTON-Diginet Americas Inc. said it has secured a local carrier license and spectrum concessions from the Peruvian Transportation and Communications Ministry for the province of Lima.
In addition to the local carrier license, Diginet secured spectrum in the 13, 18 and 38 GHz bands. The company said it will provide fixed wireless broadband services in the Lima/Callao metropolitan area by early 2000.
