ATLANTA-World Access Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire Comm/Net Holding Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiaries Enhanced Communications Corp., Comm/Net Services Corp. and Long Distance Exchange Corp.
World Access will pay about $27 million in stock for the company.
Plano, Texas-based Comm/Net is a facilities-based provider of wholesale international long-distance and wholesale prepaid calling card services primarily to the Mexican telecommunications markets.
World Access provides wholesale international long-distance services and designs a variety of wireline and wireless telecommunications products for service providers worldwide.
