MADRID, Spain-Telefonica S.A. and Motorola Inc. signed an agreement under which the two companies will collaborate more closely and Motorola will become a preferred supplier to Telefonica.
The agreement also calls for the creation of joint, specialized work groups focusing on data-over-wireless, including Internet connectivity, wireless devices, wireless local loop solutions and digital trunking solutions, among others, said the companies.
