LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel introduced new wireless rates plans that eliminate long-distance and roaming charges on all calls in the Carolinas. Customers can choose from six plans, starting as low as $20 per month for 45 minutes of airtime.
Calls made anywhere in North Carolina or South Carolina will not be charged a roaming fee, and long-distance calls which originate in the two-state area are free to anywhere in the United States.
