ATLANTA-Alltel Corp. announced its AS/400-based Virtuoso customer care and billing software has been enhanced to support the provisioning and billing of multiple telecommunication services, as well as automated measures to ensure data accuracy.
“The latest version of Virtuoso prevents mismatching one type of service with inappropriate service plans, promotions, features, equipment and one-time charges,” said Roger Leitner, president of Alltel’s telecommunications services business unit.
“This addition will give our clients greater control over their service offerings and reduce the number of data entry errors.”
