MCLEAN, Va.-LCC International Inc. said it made a minority investment in Italtel Sistemi SpA, obtaining access to 2,300 telecom professionals and improving its position to capture a sizable percentage of the Italian wireless services market.
Through its wholly owned subsidiary, LCC United Kingdom Ltd., LCC will acquire 19.9 percent of Italtel Sistemi for approximately $1 million, said the company. Tecneudosia, a designer and manufacturer of shelters for fixed and mobile telecom operators and suppliers, will assume the majority interest in Italtel Sistemi, said LCC.
